// FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Everything you need to know about OrvixLabs.
Direct answers about who we are, how we work, what we build, and how a project starts.
What is OrvixLabs?+
OrvixLabs is an Argentine systems studio and technical consultancy based in Necochea, Buenos Aires, that designs, builds, and operates private enterprise AI systems. It is a hybrid agency: human professionals design and lead, leveraged by a staff of specialized AI agents and by our proprietary cognitive brain IRIS SCE. It builds proprietary products (Vortica) and custom solutions for companies that need real, auditable results under their control.
What is a hybrid agency?+
A hybrid agency is a new category of professional services company in which human people work together with a permanent team of specialized artificial intelligence agents. Production capacity does not scale by hiring more people — it scales by instantiating more agents with architectural judgment. OrvixLabs is the first Argentine hybrid agency and serves clients worldwide.
What is IRIS SCE?+
IRIS SCE is the proprietary operational brain that OrvixLabs designs and builds. It is an enterprise cognitive system that orchestrates multiple artificial intelligence models under six reasoning modes, with cross-verification, persistent memory, and complete audit of every decision. All systems OrvixLabs builds (Vortica and custom solutions) run with IRIS as the central engine. IRIS SCE has its own site at iris-sce.com.
How is OrvixLabs different from a traditional consultancy?+
A traditional consultancy delivers documents, recommendations, and person-hours. OrvixLabs delivers operational systems in production, with agents executing real tasks 24/7, connected to the client's data and under their control. The metric is not billed hours but working systems.
How is OrvixLabs different from a traditional AI agency?+
Most AI agencies build demos, prototypes, or integrations with commercial APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) without continuity guarantees, without data control, and without their own architecture. OrvixLabs has its own cognitive brain (IRIS SCE), builds on dedicated VPS per client, guarantees data sovereignty, and operates with a failure-prevention philosophy (Hamilton).
Does my data leave my company?+
No. Every system built by OrvixLabs runs on infrastructure dedicated to the client. Data is not shared between clients. Commercial model APIs are called from the client's infrastructure using their own keys. There is a sensitive data protection layer (Data Shield) with automatic detection and masking before any external call.
What happens if an agent makes a mistake?+
OrvixLabs operates with the Hamilton philosophy: every system has layers of automatic detection, self-repair, escalation to Claude Code to resolve, alerts classified by severity, and only if everything above failed, human intervention. IRIS SCE includes cross-verification and adversarial challenge that reduce hallucinations before the decision reaches the client.
What proprietary products does OrvixLabs have?+
OrvixLabs has two proprietary products. Vortica is a commercial intelligence platform for Argentine companies that automates prospecting, qualification, and multichannel contact with AI voice. IRIS SCE is the enterprise cognitive brain that orchestrates multiple AI models with verification, memory, and auditing. Both are available at their dedicated domains vortica.la and iris-sce.com.
In which countries does OrvixLabs operate?+
OrvixLabs is headquartered in Argentina. We serve clients worldwide. The site is available in Spanish and English. Solutions are delivered respecting the client's applicable regulatory framework: Argentina's Law 25.326, GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, and local regulations as required.
How does a project with OrvixLabs begin?+
All projects begin with a paid Architecture Review. It is an intensive audit (two to four weeks) where OrvixLabs reviews the problem, the data, the existing architecture, and designs the complete solution before building anything. The deliverable is an actionable architecture document. If the client decides to build, the cost of the Architecture Review is deducted from the project.
How much does it cost?+
The Architecture Review has a fixed price based on scope. Custom systems are quoted per project based on the approved design. Vortica has monthly plans for Argentine SMEs at vortica.la. IRIS SCE for enterprises is quoted by capacity and volume. There are no hidden costs. Every quote is delivered in a detailed document with component breakdown.
Who owns the code and the data?+
The client owns the code and the data. OrvixLabs delivers systems with intellectual property transferred or licensed per contract. Infrastructure runs on VPS under client control or managed by OrvixLabs per preference. The exception is IRIS SCE as a cognitive engine, which is OrvixLabs' property and is licensed for use within the delivered system.
